Dear Mom and Dad, This place is terrible. The food is spoiled and poisonous, and the drinking water is contaminated so there is an outbreak of typhoid. Our cabin collapsed last night in a typhoon, but don't worry. Only one guy was killed? Rudy Miller hates Camo Algonkian Island so much that he'll do anything to escape. He writes to his parents begging them to let him come home, sabotages the cafetaria food, starts fights among the other campers, and even steals a boat. But nothing works. His counselor, Chip, and his cabinmates are getting fed up because Rudy's always causing them trouble. Then Rudy Comes up with an idea that will either make him a hero-or destroy the whole camp!
