Physics for Senior High School has been compiled in compliance with the Standar Isi 2006 for use in Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) and Madrasah Aliyah (MA). It is intended to provide students with guides and tricks to learn physics in an easy, somprehensive, and structured way.
This book is presented in a style which encourages conceptual understanding, and emphasizes the following important aspects in learning physics.
Recognizing facts, understanding concepts, deriving formulas, and proving formulas.
Applying concept, and formulas; this is exemplified in worked problems.
Working out structured problems, i.e., those which are given in increasing difficulty, and problems which require problem solving skill.
Each chapter provides Activity which invites students to get the experience of inventing certain physical concepts or properties on their own. Each chapter also provides Questions for Discussion, through which Student deepen their understanding of physical concepts or properties.
